FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The severe storm that blew across Texas on Tuesday is effecting flights across the nation Wednesday.

The Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport was pelted with hail that damaged over 100 planes causing a ripple effect in flight delays.

Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) says the morning flight to Dallas around 7am was cancelled, however the people who were on that American flight were re-booked on Delta so they were able to get to their destinations.

FWA also says that all other flights coming into and out of Dallas-Fort Worth are expected to be on time.

Any other questions should be directed to American Airlines.
