HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- A series of sweeping cuts are on the way for Huntington University to alleviate a 1.5 million dollar budget deficit.

According to the campus paper, the Huntingtonian, four full-time faculty and two full-time administrative staff are either leaving or being let go.

Some part-timers will also be laid off and a handful of others are seeing their hours cut.

Administrators cite a lower than expected fall enrollment.

The cuts are part of next year's budget which starts on June first.
