FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) --Uniting communities block by block.
With a new Indiana NAACP President comes a new mantra for the organization.
Members met with all of the new officers and discussed future plans.
Regional President, Paulette Nellems, says she hopes to include more community members, this year.
“I just think that it's time for us to really step up volunteering in whatever capacity. Everyone knows their gifts and their talents and so I'm just asking the public to join me as I try to make a difference in our community.”
If you are interested in volunteering, just call 744-2176.
