Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Allen County Library hosted the annual McMurtry Lecture Tuesday night.
The keynote speaker was Doctor Gary Gallagher, author and history professor at the University of Virginia.
The world's most renowned scholars on Abraham Lincoln have presented the annual lecture for over 30 years with this years titled "A Real Lost Cause: The Disappearance of Union from the memory of the Civil War."
The lecture was sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Collection.
