Semi Carrying 40,000 Pounds Of Ice Cream Causes Major Traffic Tie Up

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Semi carrying at least 40,000 pounds of ice cream rolled over on south bound I-69 at exit 111A near Lima Road late Friday afternoon.

The semi was exiting off of northbound Lima onto the highway when it rolled over.

Southbound I-69 was down to two lanes and officials say clean up could take up to four to six hours.

The driver of the semi was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
