Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Fort Wayne Urban League introduced their new principal of the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Monday.
Nicole Chisley will be at the reins when classes start in August at the new academy in the former Zion school building on South Hanna Street.
Chisley holds degrees from Indiana and Butler Universities.
She says it's important to go beyond the textbooks and standards.
