Allen County, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Northeast Indiana State Troopers discover a meth lab while serving an arrest warrant.
The trooper’s say that when they arrived at the rural New Haven home searching for 22-year-old Michael Jay Neuenschwander for probation violation in Steuben County and leaving the scene of an accident in LaGrange County.
Once Neuenschwander was located they also immediately recognized 24-year-old Jeremy L. Combs of Ashley, Ind. in a detached garage.
While Troopers were serving the arrest warrant, they smelled a strong chemical odor coming from the garage. As a result of further investigation, a one-pot meth lab was located and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team was contacted. Both Neuenschwander and Combs were taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Jail on numerous drug related charges.
