FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Mad Anthonys Pro-Am was a rousing success in the tournament's first year associated with the Hotel Fitness Championship.

Mad Anthonys presented a check for $100,000 to the Children's Hope House, then charitable beneficiary of the pro-am. The money will go towards expanding the facility so more families have a place to stay while children receive care.

"This is always an exciting day," Mad Anthonys president Don Banowetz says. "We are ready to finish a four bedroom expansion to our House. We'll have a total of ten rooms."

Four families will be able to stay at the Children's Hope House at one time with the new expansion, organizers say.

Ribbon cutting on the expansion is set for Sept. 17.
