VINCENNES, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Strong storms moved through Vincennes Indiana Sunday causing property damage in several areas of that city.

The roof of an apartment complex was severely damaged forcing residents to seek shelter elsewhere.

In addition, the storm brought heavy winds, hail and downed trees and power lines in several residential areas.

Fortunately, no one was hurt as a result of the damage.

The fire chief says although the area was hoping for rain because of drought conditions, this was not the storm people wanted to see.
