FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Fort Wayne native, Timothy L. Lake, will be speaking at the 28th Annual Service of Repentance & Reconciliation Sunday.
Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County along with the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance will be hosting the event.
The service is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lake, PhD, is an associate professor at Wabash College with a strong connection to Fort Wayne as a Snider High School graduate in 1981. He earned a B.S. in speech communication at Ball State University and holds masters degrees from Howard
University and the University of Notre Dame.
Lake has authored several publications including "Martin Luther King, Jr.: Towards a Democratic Theory," in The Philosopher, King: Critical Essays on the Liberatory Philosophy of Martin Luther King, Jr. (forthcoming).
The service will begin at 7p.m. at the Plymouth Congregational Church on 501 West Berry Street.
