Fatal Crash On U.S. 24

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Allen County Coroner has identified a woman killed in a crash, Saturday afternoon on U.S. 24 east of Doyle Road.

Witnesses say that 86-year-old Margie Ellen Dennie of Fort Wayne crossed the center line and hit an on coming semi. Officials say Dennie was wearing a seat belt and the airbag did deploy.

Dennie is the 28th traffic fatality for Allen County so far this year.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

Police say both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
