FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A woman was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Bluffton Road.
Witnesses tell the Allen County Sheriff's Department a blue Jeep was headed southbound on Bluffton Road, just south of Ferguson Road, when it crossed the center line and collided with a VW Beetle head-on.
The Beetle spun into a ditch, and the Jeep overturned in the middle of the street.
The driver of the Beetle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep had only minor injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, but police think alcohol was involved in the crash.
Bluffton Road is closed in both directions for several hours. Police advise motorists to take alternative routes.
