FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - One of the nation's premier scholars on the U.S. Supreme Court was in Wednesday to provide commentary on the Highest Court in the Land.
Toobin spoke as part of the Omnibus Lecture Series at IPFW Wednesday night, providing historical context to a major shift in court judicial philosophy over the decades.
Toobin, who is CNN Senior Legal Analyst and writer for The New Yorker stresses the importance of the media as it pertains to the judicial process.
"One of the points of journalism," Toobin said, "is to see history unfold before your very eyes."
Toobin is also an accomplished author, recently finishing his new book, The Oath: The Obama White House & The Supreme Court, which explores the political relationship between the Highest Court In The Land and the Obama Administration.
