Premium movie network Starz will stop providing its movies to online video service Netflix when the existing deal between the companies ends at the end February, after negotiations on a new agreement broke down, according to a Wall Street Journal story.
"This decision is a result of our strategy to protect the premium nature of our brand by preserving the appropriate pricing and packaging of our exclusive and highly valuable content," Starz Chief Executive Chris Albrecht said in a statement released by the network.
The two companies started working together in 2008.
