According to a story in the Louisville Courier-Journal, nine Amish men in Kentucky were sentenced to between three and 10 days in jail for refusing to pay fines for not displaying a bright-colored safety triangle on the back of their horse-drawn buggies.
The report says the men refused to pay their fines based on religious grounds.
