FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Many neighborhood streets in Northeast Indiana still have ice covering them since winter weather struck a week ago.
The City of Fort Wayne focuses on clearing primary and secondary roadways first before plowing additions and other neighborhoods; and that's if there is at least 3 inches of snowfall.
"As a way to stretch our dollar a little bit, we will put third shift on and we keep that third shift on during the winter months," Frank Suárez with the City of Fort Wayne said.
Residents can call 311 to advise an intersection that may need attention. That may include leaving a message if calling overnight.
