Wanted Sex Offender Found In Pulaski Co.

MEDARYVILLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Police in Pulaski County, Ind., have found a wanted sex offender hours after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Cecil A. Marten, 48, of Angola, was apprehended around 5:30 p.m. in the northern Indiana town of Medaryville. The warrant was issued earlier Tuesday after Marten failed to report for his annual check-in with the sex offender registry.

Marten was charged with one felony count of failure to register as a sex offender.

Marten awaits extradition back to Steuben County to face the charges.
