KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Noble County is mourning the loss of a city councilman and radio personality.
Don Moore, 60, of Kendallville, died unexpectedly Sunday.
Moore was owner and a disc jockey on WAWK radio station, which operates at 1140AM and 95.5FM. Prior to that, he could be heard on WBTU.
"Don Moore is a special man that loved his family friends," former WAWK and WBTU disc jockey Dale Christopher says. "This man touch a lot of lives with his humor, love of life and his heart of gold."
Moore was re-elected to Noble County Council, and recently appointed council president.
Moore's visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Hite Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St., Kendallville.
His funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at the Kendallville Event Center, 615 Professional Way.
