INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) - An Indiana lawmaker wants to restrict the availability of an ingredient found in cold medicine.
State Rep. Ron Bacon, R-Chandler, has proposed a measure that would make pseudoephedrine a prescription-only drug.
Chandler says the legislation will help curb the use of meth, which also uses pseudoephedrine, across Indiana.
State Sen. Carlin Yoder, R-Middlebury, has spoken out against the bill, saying past attempts at prescription pseudoephedrin have not worked.
