ANGOLA, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Steuben County murder trial for Zao Burrell continued into Day 3 Thursday.
The jury heard from many of the officers and detectives who were part of both the original chase between Steuben County and Ohio, and a second chase that finished with Burrell's arrest in Fort Wayne last June.
The officers who took Burrell in custody testified that Burrell pointed a gun at one of the officers. Another officer says Burrell tried to run, but Burrell was unable to get away.
Burrell is charged with murder in the shooting death of Brent Dombrowski, 40, of Angola. Burrell also faces multiple other charges including attempted murder of a police officer.
