Mobile Home Shooting Suspect Arrested After Pursuit (PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The man the Allen County Sheriff's Department was searching for in connection with the Dupont Estates mobile home park shooting has been arrested.

Allen County Police were in the area Dupont Estates looking for possible leads into the whereabouts of Stephen Walker. An Officer spotted Walker on foot in the trailer park.

According to the Allen County Sheriff's Department, Walker then led police on a foot pursuit eventually getting into a vehicle and leaving. Allen County Police then spotted Walker on Diebold in a blue Lexus. Walker then led police on a vehicle pursuit.

The suspect pulled into the Carmike movie theater where he struck an Allen County Police vehicle with his car. Walker continued the pursuit through a fence and into a field off of Diebold Road. The vehicle came to a stop and Walker was taken into custody by Allen County Police without injury to Walker or officers.

Two women were wounded Monday night after being shot in Dupont Estates mobile home park.

Around 9:15 p.m., the Fort Wayne Police Department was called to the 4800 block of Green Meadows Drive.

Two women had gunshot wounds: one woman to the neck, the other woman to the arm.

Both women were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The Allen County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Stephen Dale Walker, 34, a suspect in the investigation. Walker is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Police are uncertain about the relation of the suspect to the victims.
