Netflix has canceled Qwikster.
According to a post by CEO Reed Hastings on the official Netflix blog, the company has reversed course after announcing in September that it would separate its DVD service and streaming video services into two websites -- Netflix and Qwikster.
"It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs," Hastings wrote. "This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster."
