NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A brave Ligonier teen helped foil a home burglary, when he chased three suspects out of his house.

Noble County police say 18-year-olds Jose Alfaro-Castaneda, Christian Reyes and Edgar Fuentes were in the 17-year-old's home, when one kicked in the door to his bedroom where he was sleeping.

He chased them out of the house and down the street, even trying to get into their van as they drove away.

The teen called police, who found the van and stolen items from the teen's house.

The three suspects were arrested and charged with Class-A burglary.

A 17-year-old boy is being held at the Allen County Juvenile Center.

The Noble County Sheriff’s Department says the three 18-year-olds are illegal aliens, and are also being held by Customs and Immigration.
