We have new word that one key component of the Harrison Square development in Fort Wayne will be opening later than originally projected.

Plans to complete the "Courtyard by Marriott" Hotel by the fall of 2009 will miss that target by a few months.

One of the owners of the Fort Wayne Wizards, along with developers of the Harrison Square condominiums and hotel are in the city for a few days, as part of the process of shepherding the project towards completion.

A new rendering of the six-story "Courtyard by Marriott" Hotel that will sit just east of the downtown baseball stadium was released.

We're now told that the hotel won't open in the fall of 2009, but instead, will more likely begin hosting guests in March of 2010.
