Troops Returning From Iraq; Big Homecoming Party Planned

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A big hero's welcome-home will be given to a group of returning military personnel tonight.

110 members of the Fort Wayne-based 384th Military Police Battalion are scheduled to return to the city today, ending a one-year deployment to Iraq.

The troops had operated a detention center at Camp Bucca.

After they arrive home, the troops will be escorted to the Allen County Fairgrounds off Carroll Road where a big homecoming celebration will be held.

That's scheduled to begin around 6 P.M. tonight.
