Women in Sexual Harassment Suit Say They Want to Move On With Lives

By Nina Settappa

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The two 26-year-old junior staffers whose
sexual harassment complaints against an aide to Marc Dann unraveled
things at the office say they look forward to moving on with their lives, now that Dann has resigned.

Vanessa Stout says she would like an apology from Dann for allowing an office atmosphere where staffers were subjected to inappropriate comments and touching by Anthony Gutierrez, the office's general services supervisor.

She says the whole ordeal has turned out to be more than she expected. Cindy Stankoski has also accused Gutierrez of harassment. She says she's also looking forward to putting this behind her.

Their attorney, Rex Elliott, said yesterday that he anticipates his clients will have a much better chance at negotiating a legal settlement for damages now that Dann is gone.
