Guard Recruiter Admits Assaulting Potential Enlistees

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A former National Guard recruiter in
Indiana pleaded guilty today to sexual battery and official
misconduct for groping seven potential female enlistees.
Eric Vetesy, who also pleaded guilty to corrupt business
influence, faces up four years in prison under a deal with
prosecutors.
Hamilton Superior Court Judge Steven Nation said he would decide
whether to accept the plea agreement after receiving a pre-sentence
investigation report from probation officials.
A rape charge was dropped as part of the deal.
Vetesy's victims were former students at Hamilton Southeastern,
Noblesville and Westfield high schools.
Nation tentatively scheduled sentencing for July 3rd.
