INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A 2-year-old boy has died of injuries
suffered in an Indianapolis house fire nearly two weeks ago that
killed his two older sisters and his mother.
Missionary Baptist Church clerk Betty Williams says Elijah Drake
died Friday at a hospital. She says a funeral for all four family
members will be Monday at the church.
Elijah's mother, 29-year-old Natasha Drake, died Tuesday at
Wishard Memorial Hospital. Her daughters, 10-year-old Camry Drake
and 7-year-old Lanesha Drake, died shortly after the fire on May
11.
Two other people escaped without injury through a window of the
near north side home.
Investigators say the fire may have started by a candle left
unattended.
