FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter)--A dog attacks a one-month-old child, sending him to the hospital.

We're told the attack happened Saturday at an apartment in the one-thousand block of Fayette.

A Cairn Terrier - Poodle-mix puppy allegedly bit the one-month-old boy in the genitals while his mother was sleeping.

She rushed the boy to the hospital where he underwent surgery... and we're told the dog has already been euthanized.
