2-Month-Old In Critical Condition After Battery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Police are investigating a battery incident involving a 2-month old infant.

Around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a home on the 1400 block of W. Wallen Road in response to a battery.

When officers arrived, they found a 2-month old male infant with injuries. Police did not disclose what those injuries were.

Police took the infant to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say they have a person of interest, but no charges have been filed.

This incident remains under investigation by Fort Wayne Police and the Department of Child Services.
