Driver's Attempt to Pass Another Vehicle Leads to Fatal Crash

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two men are dead, two others are hospitalized as a result of a crash near Mentone Sunday.

Kosciusko County police say 18-year old Nathan Creighton of Warsaw was attempting to pass a vehicle on State Road 25 when his car ran head-on with a pickup truck near county road 1300 West.

Creighton and a passenger, 20-year old Shawn Keckler of Rochester, were hospitalized in critical condition.

Two other of Creighton's passengers, 20-year old Ryan Holloway of Rochester and 18-year old Bryant Scottl, died in the wreck.

The pickup truck driver was not seriously hurt.
