FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Parents, you may want to be on the lookout.
Fort Wayne Police are searching for a man identified as a suspicious person and he may be a danger to your kids.
It was just before midnight saturday when some fast action by a couple of good samaritans may have kept two young girls from being abducted.
A man and his wife driving near the intersection of Rothman and Maplecrest roads noticed a maroon vehicle with a broken driver's side window had its flashers on and was driving slowly.
Nearby that vehicle, the couple told police they spotted two girls who looked scared.
According to the police report, the husband told the girls he went to a local church and asked if they were alright.
To which the young girls responded they were scared and that the two men in the maroon vehicle were bothering them.
Police say the couple then offered to give the girls, ages 12 and 14, a ride home.
The couple told police the maroon vehicle followed them there and upon arrival the driver approached the husband shouting "do you know who i am?", stating he was from the CPS, and flashing an ID card, before taking off.
The couple describes this man as somewhere in his early to mid thirties, about 5 foot eight inches with a stocky build, and curly dark brown hair .
The information has since been forwarded to Child Protective Services and the Fort Wayne Police Department's Detective Bureau.
No definite word yet as to if this is connected to two attempted abductions in Waterloo and Garrett last week. The description of the suspect and the car in one of those abductions is similar to the description of this man.
