DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police in DeKalb County say road rage may have been a factor in a crash Wednesday afternoon on US 6.

25-year-old Nathan Wilson, of Warsaw, told police he became upset when another driver, 63-year-old Russell Coleman, of Goshen, made a gesture at him while traveling north on I-69.

Police say Wilson followed Coleman's pick-up off the interstate and onto US 6, then passed Coleman trying to get him to pull him over. When Coleman would not pull over, Wilson slowed down to turn left and Coleman hit Wilson's vehicle, flipping it over.

Wilson was taken to the hospital with fractured ribs and Coleman was not injured.

Police are considering charging Wilson with aggressive driving.
