Arson on Jackson Street

FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's News Center)---Arson is the cause for three fires in less than two months on the same city street.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called once again to the 1300 block of Jackson Street just off Jefferson Boulevard.
This time, fire fighters had to put out a blaze on an apartment house just steps away from where a previous home caught fire in May.
This is the third home on the small street to be subjected to arson in the last two months.
The building was vacant, as were the other houses that went up in flames.

One neighbor spoke about his concern,
Scott Greider: " We're a little bit scared of what's next and what's going to happen. It seems there's a clear pattern. There's a clear intention. Perhaps even an agenda. We're not sure, but we're hopeful because we think the neighborhood can sustain or withstand this and really continue to come back."
There were no injuries on any of the fires that have occurred on Jackson Street.
