ELKHART, Ind. (AP) - Elkhart police are investigating racist
graffiti spray painted on a church.

Police are trying to determine whether the vandalism at the
predominantly black Unity Church of God could be related to a
recent fight in the neighborhood.

A fight broke out early Sunday between four white men and four
black men and a 19-year-old black man was shot in the leg.

The graffiti included swastikas and the letters "KKK." It was
spray painted on the church either late Sunday or early Monday.

Sidewalks and stop signs near the church were also spray
painted, and a swastika was spray painted on the door of a black
man's home nearby sometime early Monday morning

Police have sent the case to the FBI for review.
