FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Today is the deadline for Indiana mortgage brokers to avoid losing their state licenses by passing a state certified exam.
Hundreds of brokers are expected to miss the deadline and be ordered out of business by the secretary of state.
Given the housing market, state officials believe many of those mortgage brokers have already closed up shop.
