ELKHART, Ind. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will bring his campaign to northern Indiana this morning.

The Illinois senator will talk about his economic and energy plans during a town hall meeting at Concord High School in Elkhart. He'll be introduced by Indiana senator Evan Bayh, who has been mentioned as a possible candidate for vice president.

A campaign spokesman says Elkhart was chosen in part because the city has been hit hard economically. But Republican state Representative Jackie Walorski says people living in the area want
real solutions to economic problems, not rhetoric. Walorski's
district includes part of Elkhart County.

Indiana's NewsCenter's Eric Clabaugh is in Elkhart this mornng covering the campaign event.
