Meth Lab House Fire In Milford

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force is currently investigating a house fire in Milford involving a working methamphetamine lab. The Kosciusko County D.T.F. released information today advising a house fire that occurred last Friday, August 8th, located at 203 E. Williams Street, Milford, Indiana, and did contain a working methamphetamine lab. Undercover officers had been summoned to the scene by the Milford Fire Department and the Milford Police Department after smelling the strong odor of methamphetamine. D.T.F. officers confirmed the presence of a lab that started the blaze, and immediately requested the assistance of the Indiana State Police Meth Lab Team to secure and dismantle the scene. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
