ROANOKE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Forgetting his glasses paid off in a big way for a Roanoke man.
Bobby Guffey and his wife Janell have claimed a $3 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot.
Guffey says he always plays the same numbers. But on the day he forgot his glasses, he inadvertently marked different numbers on the lotto sheet. The mistake turned out to be a lucky break, though, as the "wrong" numbers were drawn on August 6.
Guffey bought the winning ticket at the Econoasis on US 24 East in Huntington.
Bobby and Janell say they have already set up trust funds for their kids, and they plan to pay off their home and take a trip to Hawaii.
