HUNTINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A Huntington County highway worker was
killed when his tractor was struck from behind by a van.

Huntington County Coroner Leon Hurlburt says 56-year-old Dennis
Klepper of Huntington was killed instantly.

Authorities say Klepper was driving a tractor with a side mower on a rural road Tuesday morning when the tractor was struck from behind by a van.

The driver of the van, 42-year-old Neil Kline of Huntington, was hospitalized in fair condition with leg and chest injuries. Hurlburt says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Klepper had worked for the highway department for 21 years and also owned a photography studio.
