CLERMONT, Ind. (AP) - The site of a former drive-in theater near
O'Reilly Raceway Park will become a business park specializing in
motor sports.

The first tenant will be Impact Racing, which manufactures fire
suits, helmets, restraints, racing shoes and other safety equipment.

Officials announced Thursday that the company will build a $3.7
million, 20,000-square-foot facility, where it will manufacture uniforms for race teams.

By 2011, Impact expects to have 100 workers at the facility.
Production is currently done in China.

The O'Reilly Raceway Park in Clermont hosts the NHRA's Mac Tools
U.S. Nationals drag races this weekend.

The business park is on the site of the former Clermont Deluxe
drive-in theater, just east of Indianapolis.
