Police Investigate Attempted Child Abduction

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter)- Police need your help tracking down a man they say tried to abduct a young New Haven girl on Monday.

The girl told police she was riding her bike near Omni-Source with her sister when a man in a gold-colored vehicle stopped them to ask directions.The girl noticed the man was naked from the waist down and then fled.

As they were riding off, the man caught up with them, exited the vehicle and grabbed the girl by her arm as he tried to force her in the trunk of his car.

Police say the suspect is a white, bald male with a dark goatee. He may also have a tattoo of a dragon on his left arm.

His vehicle is described as gold in color with damage to the headlight on the passenger side.
