BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A Cold War-era mobile hospital that sat
in storage for decades is being auctioned off on eBay by Monroe
County officials.

The MASH-style medical supplies sat in boxes in the basement of
Indiana University's geology department for years. But when the
department remodeled a few years ago, the county moved the items -
including an X-ray machine, operating gowns and field blankets - to
a pole barn.

Officials tried shopping the supplies around to the federal and
state government and military museums, but nobody wanted them.

Now, the county commissioners plan to sell them on eBay. The
supplies were a gift to Monroe County from the federal Civil
Defense department in the 1950s and they still look brand-new.
