Fort 4 Fitness: City vs County

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter)--Local celebrities were among the thousands taking part in Fort Wayne's inaugural Fort4Fitness.

Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry and Allen County Commissioner Nelson Peters put a friendly wager on who might win between the two.

If Mayor Henry crossed the finish line first, Peters would treat Henry to dinner at The Green Frog Inn at Sherman and Spring Streets in Fort Wayne.

In the event Peters crossed first, Mayor Henry would treat the Commissioner to dinner at a well-known establishment in the County, Billy’s in Zulu.

Hat's off to both leaders for taking part!

And the winner is: Commissioner Nelson Peter's with a time of 38:27.
