GREENCASTLE, Ind. (AP) - DePauw University is celebrating the inauguration of its 19th president with fireworks and a rock concert.

The inauguration ceremonies for Brian Casey will be capped off by a sold-out concert Friday night by the alternative rock group Third Eye Blind.

Casey is a 45-year-old Notre Dame graduate and former Wall Street lawyer who previously worked at Brown and Harvard.

He has been inviting small groups of students to dinner since he arrived on campus in July to get to know the 2,400-student liberal arts college in Greencastle.

DePauw trustees hired Casey in February to succeed Robert G. Bottoms, who had been president since 1986.
