There will be no postal service and many government offices will be closed.

The Saint Vincent Boy Scout lodge in Fort Wayne will do their part with a flag retirement ceremony, complete with bagpipes and a bugler, at 7:30 tonight.

Students at Harlan Elementary School paid tribute to veterans yesterday.

Vets spoke to the students and the children responded with poems songs and memorial wreaths.

While at Adams Central High School, History Club students hosted an event, which included an Honor Guard, the playing of taps and a scroll of veterans' names.

About 300 veterans and their families were in attendance.
