ALLEN COUNTY, Ind (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A devastating crash in northwest Allen County has killed a Carroll High School student.

17-year-old Audie Gregory died Monday morning when her car was hit by a pick-up truck while she was crossing US 30 at O'Day Road.

Her four teenage siblings were taken to the hospital in serious condition. Three of them have been released, the last has been upgraded to fair condition.

Police say the car was heading north on O'day road around 7:30 Monday morning when the accident happened.

Officers say the pick-up truck was on its way into Fort Wayne, and left skid marks on US 30 as it tried to stop, but couldn't avoid hitting the car.

Counselors inside Carroll High School and around the district are counseling students, and phones are available if the teens feel the need to talk to their family and loved ones.

Carroll High School Assistanct Principal, Sam DiPrimio says "Audie was certainly the person with a bubbly personality. She was well known throughout the school, she was well liked, she was involved. She was part of the show choir here at Carroll High School for the last four years and she's one of those types of students that is not only involved in the programs itself, but (a student who askes) what do you need done. Where can I jump in and help out."

Funeral arrangements have been made for Audie. The viewing will be on Friday afternoon from 4 untill 8 at the Pathway Community Church on Sheerwater Run and the funeral will be held there Saturday morning at 10.
