ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Allen County Commissioners will consider a new outdoor grilling ordinance on Friday.

The local health board yesterday approved an amendment to the current rule.

It would let licensed retail food service establishments cook meats on a covered grill every day as long as the food preparation and sale takes place inside.

The current ordinance requires restaurants to get a separate permit which allows grilling up to 10-days a month.
