FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter)--The Better Business Bureau is warning you to be alert for scams that often pop up this time of year hoping to take advantage of New Year's resolutions.

Some local residents have already been victims of an offer for a free trial of Acai Berry.

The weight loss-product maker claims it has the endorsement of OPRAH Winfrey, and charges customers each month despite the offer of a "free trial".

Last week, Arizona's attorney general filed a lawsuit against the company.
