CINCINNATI (AP) - Buildings at a college outside Cincinnati have been evacuated because of a series of fires.
Firefighters say there have been at least five small fires at the College of Mount St. Joseph, found everywhere from on a bulletin board to in a bathroom. The fires were reported between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday and were quickly extinguished, leaving smoke behind.
Authorities shut off access to the two buildings where the fires broke out and launched an arson investigation.
Officials say the buildings' sprinkler systems worked effectively.
Authorities say at least one person has received medical treatment for smoke inhalation.
Mount St. Joseph is a Catholic college of 2,300 students in Delhi Township, just west of Cincinnati.
